Ape Escape On The Loose - front cover and hi-res logo

Hi there boxartisans!

I was browsing my old hard drive and came up with this nice little logo. Nothing fancy schmancy about it, except it's an original press kit file. I don't even remember when I got it. For those of you who do a lot of hi res artwork, this might be useful. When it comes to a cover, there is one already in my PSP box art section, but this one is a digital file, not a scan, so it's all about quality.

Large logo & front cover below. Fresh of the grill!

Super Nintendo Cleaning Kit Box Cover

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1486"]Super Nintendo Cleaning Kit Box Cover Super Nintendo Cleaning Kit Box Cover[/caption]

Something tells me that a cleaning kit box is not a very popular subject among box artists. I've decided to do something a little bit different and choose it as a subject. I didn't want to stray away too much from the original either.

Having original product in excellent condition, I went along and scanned the front without removing it from original foil. After all, they can fetch a decent buck on eBay. 600dpi is what I generally work with. Details are important. Output is done in 300dpi. Reworked everything in Illustrator, and result is for your to judge.

BTW, I have a great admiration for founder & community, so it was only natural to post it there.

Please, let me know what you think.

Golden Sun - in the hunt for the digital logo

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="3077"]Golden Sun: The Lost Age logo Golden Sun: The Lost Age logo[/caption]

Digital files (box art, manuals, posters, box shots, press kits) of older game titles are harder to find in today's digital domain. But they do exist! Too bad all those media folks who have access to those secretive "media/press sites" don't share them with the box art community. But I do a little bit of searching (doxing) on my own & find few documents here & there, sitting on some long forgotten servers.Today I'm posting a logo extracted from one of those "forgotten sell sheets".

Dear reader, perhaps You have some rare digital file(s) sitting around waiting to be rediscovered by the world? Please share :)

Undergoing changes...

Chi bi-Ro bo! GameCube front box art!

So... BIG CHANGES in small steps are coming.

I haven't done anything to this site since 2004 except adding various image scans, logos and media kits. This is about to change. Very, very slowly. For now, on your right side you'll see a full directory of video game box art scans. Grab what you can :)
